Dr. Ari Hoschander is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of the NYC Mommy Makeover Center on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. With more than 15 years of surgical experience, he focuses on the procedures that restore the body after pregnancy, weight loss, and aging.

A foundation built across two decades
Dr. Hoschander’s path to plastic surgery started in one of the country’s most respected medical schools and continued through years of specialized surgical training. Each step shaped the surgeon he is today, blending technical depth with hands-on patient experience.
He began at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2006. From there, he completed a five-year general surgery residency at North Shore-LIJ, now part of Northwell Health, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. That broad surgical foundation gave him a level of versatility many cosmetic surgeons never develop.
Dr. Hoschander then pursued his passion for aesthetic surgery through a three-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, one of the leading plastic surgery programs in the country. By the end of his training, he had spent nearly a decade mastering the surgical skills he uses today.
